A double rotary sheet cutter can form part of a paper-converting workflow that supplies sheets to subsequent printing or packaging operations. The relevant question is not simply which industry uses a sheeter, but whether the proposed machine can deliver the required sheet from your actual material. Yueda's DWLX1300L and DWLX1400L are listed for paper and packaging board.
For roll-to-sheet conversion, define the incoming paper and the format required by the next operation. Buyers should specify finished dimensions, quantity, edge-quality expectations and stacking requirements. Trial sheets should be assessed against those requirements before a configuration is accepted.
This is a sheeting application, not a claim that the cutter performs printing, coating, laminating or finished-package assembly. Keep separate operations and their equipment requirements clear in the project brief.
Packaging-board jobs may require different sheet formats for later converting. Describe the board grade, grammage, surface treatment and downstream use so Yueda can review the proposed application. Confirm how sheets will be collected and transferred without confusing the cutter's stacking specification with the limits of separate handling equipment.
The DWLX model table lists cut lengths of 450–1400 mm and different working-width ranges for the two models. Its cutter-load value is qualified by material density and quality. Review those conditions together rather than treating one maximum number as universal approval.
If a job requires a particular relationship between a printed image and the cut, provide marked samples and the acceptance requirement. The published table includes tracking-accuracy information, but the required sensing, control configuration and applicable test conditions still need to be confirmed.
Likewise, provide coated or laminated samples for evaluation. Do not assume that a machine listed for paper and packaging board automatically accepts film, foil, textiles or every composite. These materials were not established as suitable by the product information reviewed for this guide.
Ask the next process owner which sheet characteristics affect acceptance. Agree sample selection and measurement methods for dimensions, squareness and edges, together with stack handling and traceability. Record the material and operating conditions with the result.
A trial is useful when it represents the intended work; one selected sample does not prove consistent output across an entire product range. For model comparison and quotation preparation, see the DWLX selection guide.
