Start with the required material process

The machine is intended for gold and silver cardboard and aluminized transfer-paper work, not generic plastic-card finishing. Identify the substrate layers, required coating route, finish and output-roll format before discussing automation. A label such as fully automatic does not define which tasks are included or prove that the proposed line can produce the required construction.

Ask for a function-by-function scope

Ask the supplier to describe how the proposed configuration handles job entry, process monitoring, alarms, material changes and production records. Include ownership and support details

Confirm documentation, training, included service arrangements and responsibilities for any software or control functions in the supply scope. If connectivity is proposed, clarify access requirements and customer approval rather than assuming it should be enabled. Compare the total project requirements alongside the machine price.
