YD Shaftless Sheeter Installation: Roll Handling and Layout Planning

The YD1300 and YD1400 positioning sheeters convert packaging paper and board from rolls into sheets. Shaftless describes the roll-handling arrangement; it does not mean the whole machine has no mechanical shafts. Review the model specifications alongside the project requirements below.

Confirm the ordered model and configuration

Obtain the final machine layout, shipping details, utility schedule and installation requirements for the exact order. Check that any roll-handling or stacking options are included in those documents. Shaftless describes how rolls are handled; it does not by itself define lifting equipment, civil works or the complete control arrangement. Do not build a foundation from a catalogue photograph or a general website description.

Map the incoming-roll route

Record actual roll width, diameter, mass and core details, plus how rolls reach the proposed machine position. Review unloading, temporary storage, doorways and the safe handling route with qualified site personnel. The delivery and lifting plan must use approved information and suitable equipment. The aim of this planning step is to identify constraints before arrival, not to provide a lifting procedure.

Reserve space for sheets and service

Show how finished stacks will leave the machine, where quality checks occur and where held material will be kept. Include access specified for authorized maintenance as well as normal work areas. Coordinate utility connections and site safety requirements with the supplier and local specialists. The machine footprint alone is not the complete installation area, and assumed clearances should not replace an approved layout.

Agree commissioning inputs and responsibilities

Prepare representative paper, required sheet formats and the agreed acceptance criteria. Assign responsibility for site readiness, installation, training, inspection and documentation. Record any unresolved items before production release. Commissioning and machine operation must follow the supplied instructions and authorized personnel requirements. Send the site drawing, roll data and planned output route to Yueda for a configuration-specific review.
