The FQN1200 and FQN1400 elevation-type transverse cutters are listed for paper and board. Their specification table covers cutting width, sheet length, material grammage, stacking height and installation dimensions. Review the model specifications alongside the project requirements below.
Before preparing the workshop, identify the ordered FQN model and all supplied modules. Request the final layout, shipping information, foundation requirements, utility schedule and installation responsibilities. Catalogue dimensions are useful for early planning but are not construction drawings. Site work, anchoring and electrical design should be based on the approved documents and handled by qualified personnel.
Review access from unloading to the final position, including doorways, obstructions, floor conditions and space for the planned handling equipment. Assess roll delivery and finished-stack removal as separate routes. The lifting plan must use the supplier-approved weights and lifting points, not an estimate from a photograph. Keep pedestrian access and emergency routes outside material-handling congestion.
Ask the supplier to specify the required connections for the exact configuration and arrange local technical review. Do not assume that a generic transverse cutter needs the same air, hydraulic or electrical services. Allow documented access for inspection and authorized maintenance, plus space for material staging and quality checks. Do not use the machine footprint alone as the total occupied workshop area.
Assign owners for delivery inspection, utilities, installation, training, trial materials and acceptance documentation. Prepare the actual paper grades and sheet formats for commissioning. Record open items and the agreed completion criteria before production release. This is a planning brief, not a lifting, wiring or commissioning procedure; execution must follow the installation manual and site safety requirements. Send the site drawing and ordered configuration for review.
