Comparing YD1300 and YD1400 Shaftless Positioning Sheeters

The YD1300 and YD1400 positioning sheeters convert packaging paper and board from rolls into sheets. Shaftless describes the roll-handling arrangement; it does not mean the whole machine has no mechanical shafts. Review the model specifications alongside the project requirements below.

Check paper width and required sheet size

The listed paper-width ranges are 700–1200 mm for YD1300 and 700–1300 mm for YD1400. Both list cutting lengths of 400–1200 mm. Prepare a job matrix with regular and occasional formats rather than selecting from the model number alone. Confirm usable width, margins and finished-sheet requirements together with the supplier.

Describe roll handling precisely

Provide the real roll diameter, mass, core details and available workshop handling arrangements. Shaftless is a roll-handling description, not proof of a particular servo architecture or of lower wear throughout the machine. The exact loading arrangement, accessories and responsibilities belong in the offer and approved layout. Ask which parts are included and what the customer must provide.

Separate positioning needs from assumptions

If the job needs cutting relative to a printed mark, send a representative printed sample and describe the required reference and tolerance. Do not assume every positioning task uses the same detection method or that every function is standard. Agree how length, squareness, surface condition and any print-position requirement will be measured during the trial.

Compare an accepted job, not just a catalogue number

Record the paper batch, sheet format, inspected quantity, accepted output and any interruptions in a representative trial. Confirm training, documentation, installation and after-sales responsibilities alongside the technical proposal. This provides a clearer comparison than generic claims of high precision or full automation. Send the job matrix, roll details and layout limits for a model-specific recommendation.
