A positioning sheeter is discussed in terms of the material entering the machine, how the required cut position is defined and how finished sheets are delivered. Understanding those stages helps a buyer ask about the configuration needed for a particular paper or board job.
Yueda lists the YD1300 / YD1400 shaftless positioning sheeters for packaging paper and board. The model comparison covers roll width, sheet length, stacking height and installation dimensions. This overview is a framework for a supplier discussion, not a model-specific operating sequence.
Here, shaftless refers to the roll-handling arrangement, not a claim that the entire machine has no mechanical shafts. Ask the supplier to show how the proposed unwind equipment supports the roll and accommodates the specified core, diameter and weight.
Loading equipment and handling procedures must be confirmed for the actual installation. The label shaftless does not alone establish a safe lifting method, guaranteed changeover time or a particular drive-system design.
Provide the paper or board grade, coating, roll dimensions and relevant material condition. Discuss how the supplied configuration will guide and feed that material toward the cutting stage. Avoid assuming that equipment described for paper and board also supports film, foil or nonwoven material without confirmation.
The purpose of a representative trial is to assess the proposed equipment with the intended material. Ask the supplier to identify the actual controls and adjustment procedures in the supplied documentation rather than applying settings from a generic article.
For a fixed-length job, state the finished sheet dimensions and required tolerance. For printed material, explain the reference mark and the required relationship between printing and the cut. Confirm whether the offered sensing and control configuration supports that requirement.
A positioning-sheeter name does not confirm a particular servo architecture, sensor package or registration option. Those details belong in the agreed configuration and acceptance specification.
Review sample dimensions, squareness and edge condition under agreed trial conditions. Keep the material identity, model configuration and sample results together. Do not treat a display setting or one selected sheet as evidence of repeatable performance for every job.
The shaftless sheeter acceptance checklist explains how to prepare a measurement brief and record the result. Any promised performance must be confirmed for the ordered equipment and application.
Discuss how finished sheets will be collected, stacked and transferred to the next operation. Compare the listed stacking information with your intended handling method and workshop layout. Record which delivery and stacking features are included, and clarify any interface with separate equipment.
